Airbus H145 Level D ADAC HEMS Full Flight Helicopter Simulator
The new Level D Full Flight Simulator "Made in Germany" of the ADAC HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) Academy has been "ready for training" since 10 January 2018, the day on which the German Federal Aviation Authority (LBA) granted the simulator Level D certification – the highest possible certification for flight simulators. The ADAC HEMS Academy is thus setting a new standard in the world of helicopter simulation.
The simulator consists of a 6 DOF electric motion&vibration system. It offers an absolutely realistic flight experience by a directly projected image with 15 dual-channel WUXGA LED video projectors on a 240° x 80° dome as well as an intuitive Onboard Instructor Operator Station (IOS).
After a thorough evaluation of leading European vision system providers, the customer Reiser Simulation und Training commissioned Space M with the system design and integration of the projection system for the H145 FFS.
